Travel to Buckingham Palace
Popularly known as “Buck House”, has served as the Monarch `s permanent London residence since the accession of Queen Victoria. He began his life in 1702 as the Duke of Buckingham `s city residence, built on the site of a notorious brothel, and was sold by the Duke` s son of George III in 1762. The building was renovated by Nash at the end of 1820 for the Prince Regent, and again by Aston Webb in the days of George V `s coronation in 1913. It is the largest private house in London – it has more than 660 rooms.

There are over 200 mature trees – birch and beech fern leaves, among them – in the garden and over 350 species of wildflowers along the lake.
Buckingham Palace is located at the west end of the Mall, near St. James Park and Green Park. Since 1660, Buckingham Palace and other royal palaces are guarded by troops of the house. As the palace, the guards are famous worldwide finery, dressed in red robes, trousers and black fur hats (the famous black “cap”). The changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace is that many tourists come specifically to see. It will take place at 11.30 hours every day in summer, and all other days in winter and lasts about 45 minutes.
